Yes, NCERT books are generally considered enough for CUET UG 2026 preparation, especially for domain-specific subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, and Social Sciences. Since CUET syllabus largely aligns with the Class 11 and 12 NCERT curriculum, thoroughly studying these textbooks helps build a strong foundation of concepts and covers most of the questions asked in the exam.
For language and general test sections, NCERT English and other language textbooks also provide good practice material. However, to improve speed, accuracy, and to practice different question types, it is beneficial to solve previous years’ CUET papers, sample papers, and take mock tests.
If you find any topic difficult or need extra practice, referring to additional reference books or online resources can be helpful. Overall, NCERT books form the core study material, but supplementing them with practice and revision is key to scoring well in CUET.
