Alright, so the transition elements are found in the middle section of the periodic table.

They’re located in groups 3 to 12 and are part of the d-block. This means their outer electrons are filling the d-orbital.

These elements are kind of like a bridge between the highly reactive metals on the left and the nonmetals on the right, which is why they’re called “transition” elements.

You'll see well-known metals like iron, copper, and zinc here. They usually have variable oxidation states and form colored compounds, which is pretty cool too!
