NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the complete counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025. The counselling process covers All India Quota (AIQ) seats, along with those at Deemed and Central Universities, as well as State-level counselling.

The results for NEET UG 2025 were declared on June 14. As per the latest announcement, the academic year for undergraduate medical programmes will begin on September 1, 2025.

Counselling Phases

MCC will conduct the counselling in three main rounds, followed by a final stray vacancy round. Institutions have been instructed to treat weekends and public holidays as working days to ensure the smooth execution of the schedule.

Stray Vacancy Round Dates

• State Quota Vacancies: September 22–26
• AIQ Vacancies: September 25–29
• Final Reporting Deadline: October 3, 2025

AIQ Counselling Schedule – Round 1

• Registration: July 21–28 (till 12:00 noon, server time)
• Registration Portal Open Until: 3:00 p.m. on July 28
• Choice Filling Window: July 22–28 (until 11:55 p.m.)
• Locking of Choices: July 28 (4:00 p.m. to 11:55 p.m.)
• Seat Allotment Process: July 29–30
• Seat Allotment Result: July 31
• Reporting to Allotted Colleges: August 1–6
• Institute Verification of Reported Candidates: August 7–8
