The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a revised schedule for the NEET PG 2025 exam. As per the latest update, the NEET PG 2025 exam date has been postponed from June 15 to August 3, 2025.
The decision to defer the exam was approved by the Supreme Court of India to ensure a smooth and transparent process. The NEET PG 2025 exam will now be conducted in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, allowing uniformity in the assessment of all candidates.
Alongside the new NEET PG 2025 schedule, NBEMS has also reopened the exam city selection window. All registered candidates must reselect their preferred exam cities, regardless of previous selections. The city selection portal will be open from June 13 to June 17, 2025. Seat allotments for exam centers will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If a candidate’s preferred city is unavailable, they can opt for “others,” and NBEMS will assign the nearest available exam center. The NEET PG 2025 city intimation slip will be issued on July 21, while NEET PG admit cards will be available for download from July 31, 2025.
For the latest updates on NEET PG 2025 exam pattern, syllabus, application process, and results, candidates are advised to regularly visit the official NBEMS website and stay tuned to trusted education news sources.
